Workshops

I offer practice-driven workshops for design students and early-career creatives who want stronger structure, clearer decision-making, and repeatable methods they can carry into studio, client work, and portfolio development. Formats are flexible (in-person or online) and can be delivered as a single session or a short series.

1) Mixed-Script Typography

Visual Semantics, Emotional Tension, and Contemporary Typographic Structures
A deep dive into bilingual/multiscript typography as a compositional system. Participants learn frameworks for hierarchy, rhythm, contrast, and “typographic voice,” and practice building layouts that stay expressive while remaining legible.

2) Translating Emotion into Visual Language

From Intuition to Structured Visual Decisions
A practical method for turning feelings into concrete design variables—color, contrast, density, texture, pacing, and type treatment. The workshop introduces “emotion-to-parameter mapping” so participants can explain and refine mood with clarity instead of relying on taste alone.

3) Building Posters from the Inside Out

Structure and Visual Hierarchy
A composition-focused workshop that treats poster design as spatial reasoning. Participants learn how focal point, reading path, grouping, grid/alignment, and negative space work together—then apply the framework to rebuild stronger poster layouts step-by-step.

4) Nine Chapters of Shape-Shifting

From Basic Shapes to Visual Systems
A systems workshop that starts with one simple shape and develops it into a rigorous visual family. Through scaling, rotation, overlap, subtraction, and controlled variation, participants produce a nine-panel series that demonstrates process, structure, and a consistent visual vocabulary—ideal for portfolio-ready outcomes.

Additional Offerings
