Metamorphosis is my MFA thesis book that examines transformation as both a visual method and a lived condition—how identities shift through language, movement, and memory. Through bilingual typographic structures, layered collage imagery, and rhythmic pacing, the book stages “change” as a sequence of transitions rather than a single before/after, inviting readers to navigate uncertainty as a generative space.

The book’s interior operates as an edited archive of my MFA practice. Projects are reorganized through a thesis-driven structure, where typography, imagery, and negative space serve as connective tissue between distinct bodies of work. By treating spreads as “stages” rather than pages, the book highlights transformation as a method—how research becomes form, and how form returns to reshape meaning.
